Admission Process of B.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering
For the B. Tech admissions, AKTU has filled
only 20% of its seats through the UPCET counseling process and 66% of the seats
through direct admissions. Admission to the AKTU B. Tech program is based on the UPCET entrance examination followed by the UPCET counseling Process.
- Online Registration: Students are
required to register for the entrance test by providing their credentials
such as email address, mobile number, and password after which a login id
will be generated.
- Filling up of application form: After the
creation of a login id, candidates have to fill up the online application
form by giving their personal and academic information.
- Uploading of documents: In this step,
candidates must upload the necessary documents such as a photograph,
signature, id proof, Class 10 and 12 certificates, etc.
- Application Fee: On uploading the
requisite documents, students will have to pay the mandatory amount of
application fee online using Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card.
- Download Application Form: After paying the
application fee, candidates have to save and download the form for future
references.
- Issuing of Admit Card: Based on the
record of the details submitted by the students, the admission authority
will issue the admit cards to the eligible students.
- Entrance Exam: After getting the
admit card, exam dates will be released by different conducting bodies.
Candidates have to sit for the entrance test and qualify the same to get

Students will be admitted in B. Tech first year after 10+2 schooling
or equivalent
qualification based on AKTU entrance ranking.

who have passed 3/4 year Diploma (with minimum 60% marks) from institutions
recognized by the U.P. Board of Technical Education in any branch of

admission to Second year in any branch of Engineering./Technology except

Direct admission on vacant seats at institution/college level:
The eligibility criteria for direct admission on seats remaining vacant in
first year after entrance examination counselling shall be such as may be
notified from time to time.

Candidates who have taken the subjects Physics and Mathematics with
Computer Science Chemistry as optional subjects and a language subject English
are eligible.

UR and 40% for SC/ST/OBC/PH.

· “The performance of a student in a semester shall be evaluated through continuous class assessment and end semester examination.
The continuous assessment shall

awarded at the end of the semester”.

end semester examination shall be comprised of written papers, practicals and
